Firstly, as chicken lovers, we’ve created a solid, high-quality coop that is built to last, and thoughtfully designed. From collecting eggs to cleaning to putting your birds inside at night, our coops make things easier while helping keep your flock healthy and safe.

Secondly, we’re a family business with integrity and we’re easy to work with. All of our coops are fully assembled and installed on-site by us personally, and we communicate clearly to ensure we stay on the same page with you.

Garden Coop: $21,500

Full build: chicken coop, run, and greenhouse. Includes labor, materials, and full assembly and painting on-site.

Coop & Run

With standard 17’ run, the 9 1/2’ tall Garden Coop houses up to 16 standard size chickens, or 24 if free-ranging. We recommend free-ranging at least part of the time to keep your chickens happy and make your eggs even healthier.

  • Crafted from solid Douglas Fir wood, with a pressure-treated base

  • 8x6’ elevated coop with two windows and easy clean-out door

  • 8x3’ storage below coop

  • 8x17’ chicken run constructed with reinforced walls

  • Manual sliding coop door

  • Upgrade: automatic solar-powered coop door (+$300)

  • Easy clean-out door, wheelbarrow height

  • Four large roll-away nesting boxes

  • Four 6’ Douglas Fir roost bars

  • Upgrade: rope-wrapped roost bars (+$100)

  • Upgrade: side flower box (+$100)

  • Your choice of paint for primary color and secondary trim color (we like Behr Marquee)

  • Metal roof in your choice of 24 colors

  • Black hardware for hinges, pulls and latches

  • 1/2” coated black hardware mesh

Greenhouse

  • 4x9’ greenhouse constructed with reinforced walls

  • 1/8” extruded clear acrylic, which resists yellowing

  • Upgrade: wrap-around shelving/tables (+$300)

Optional ground work and retaining walls not included, but we can help with this if needed.

Ground work or retaining wall work (optional)

For longevity and structural integrity, it’s important that your Garden Coop is built on a strong foundation and level ground that drains water well. You have a lot of different options here, and we would be happy to talk with you or help with them.
